Why didn't anybody stop me?
The last time I did something like this I promised myself not to do it ever again...what I mean is to stop doing these one day trips...its terribly tiring and stressful.
Here's a quick recap of what happened today.
06:00am - Woke up, quick shower, pack my stuff for the day.
06:45am - had a quick breakfast.
06:55am - left home for the office to pick up one of our managers.
07:30am - reached the airport car park.
07:45am - went to the terminal to check in and check in.
08:10am - went through all the security checks and went to the lounge.
09:00am - boarded the plane.
10:00am - arrived in Bacolod.
10:10am - got a cab.
10:55am - got to the hotel (where the team is staying overnight).
11:00am - went into a conference call with Singapore partners.
12:00nn - had lunch.
01:00pm - went ahead and started the training/meeting.
02:00pm - stepped out and had a conference call with our Hong Kong partners.
03:00pm - went back to the training, worked on some emails.
04:15pm - stepped out again to buy stuff for people back home.
04:40pm - got picked up by the car to the airport.
05:20pm - reached the airport.
05:40pm - cleared check-in and security checks.
06:10pm - boarded the plane
06:20pm - closed doors and pushback
07:30pm - arrived Manila.
07:45pm - got to the car.
08:10pm - got home...had dinner with my family for my sister's birthday.
It's 10pm now and I'm on the bed...getting ready to sleep.

It actually sounds like you enjoy this stuff. Otherwise, I'm sure you'd manage to find a way to be stuck behind a desk/counter/booth doing the same thing day-in and day-out.
Personally, I envy you. I'd rather travel for work than be stuck in the office all day.

I agree, I think owning your own company.. building a reputation for excellent work.. assembling a competent and dynamic staff and developing relationships with clients around the Pacific rim must be pretty damn exciting.
