Well like any day there would be ups and downs and today is no different. I've been complaining about my sore throat for the past few days and have been waiting for today to see the doctor, since clinics were closed since Christmas. I've been seeing a specialist since 14 or 15 for my sinusitis and I've actually been seeing this particular specialist for about 5 years now. It was pretty routine, he sucked out mucus using a thin metal straw inserted into my nasal passage. He checked the tonsils which were very inflamed because of irritations caused by the dripping of mucus from my sinuses. He then proceeded to prescribe antibiotics (Augmentin 1gm) plus something for my cough and an anti-histamine. This would explain why I feel like a junkie after taking my meds.
To make my day extra sweet, I've finally decided to "reward" myself with a gift for the new year. I've been thinking of getting a nice watch for myself, something not given to me by someone else, something I bought for myself because I've worked hard and deserve it. Since I don't know much about watch, I asked my brother to help me. He said that although buying a brand new watch would be good, we should watch out for second hand deals, especially now when people are off loading a lot of their older stuff and if we are lucky, most watch enthusiasts who sell their watch would have them in mint condition.
That's why I jumped on the opportunity when my brother told me that he found someone selling an
IWC Mark XVI Pilot watch. It was a pretty good steal considering the the guy bought it in December 2007 for 165,000 pesos (US$3,600) and is worth about 200,000 (US$4,350) pesos now.
I even asked my brother (who is a professional photographer to take a photo of it tonight)
Well that's about it...I really feel very drowsy...

the watch will be just another expensive bauble but it won't stop your woeful complaints. just a hunch...

sorry to burst your bubble but those are knocked offs...you can buy those in china town for $35, the box gave it awat... :(

Well i'm really not sure about the box, but I met with the guy selling the watch at a licensed reseller and they did confirm it was authentic. Since I'm not the type to sell it off, I really don't care much about the box.
